There are many ways to get to the Festival
Festival organizers have established routes that will take you to the Festival parking and camping areas with greater ease and less waiting in traffic. You’ll find detailed maps and directions to the Festival, regardless of the area you’re traveling from at cxfest.com/travel.
Avoid Exit 33
While Exit 33 may take you directly to the Expo, Peninger Road will be closed to all through traffic during the Festival. There will be a checkpoint granting access to Festival staff, Family Fun Center patrons and fans with pre-purchased passes for Handicap Parking and Camping and VIP Parking. Peninger Road should be avoided by all fans en route to Festival camping and GA Parking. This area will be highly congested.
Use Exits 30 and 35
Directing Festival camping and GA parking traffic to Exits 30 and 35 will help reduce congestion, improving the overall traffic flow in the area.
Map, Directions and Important Information
Detailed maps and directions to the camping and parking areas will be available at cxfest.com/travel.
The bike path is closed to through bicycle traffic from Pine to Upton during the Festival. It will be open to pedestrian Festival traffic. There will be a bike parking area available near the Daytime Shuttle stop, at the South end of Peninger Road.
Upton Road will close Thursday to through traffic. Local and camping traffic only from 10th street to Wilson during the Festival.
No Public Drop Off Area at the Expo
Due to the closure of Peninger Road and traffic congestion, there will not be a Drop Off area for public use near the Festival. All Drop Off traffic must go to the GA Parking lot and ride the shuttle in from there. This is a FREE shuttle and an important part of our plan to help alleviate traffic congestion. We encourage you to use this.
GA Parking is located next to the White City Fire Station on Avenue G, just over six miles from the Festival. The address is 1665 Avenue G, White City, OR (get directions). Avenue G is a two-way road, accessible from both the east and the west. Again, please visit cxfest.com/travel for directions and other important information.
